DANIEL R. JONES earned a
B.A. in Mathematics from the University of Kansas in 1982. Mr. Jones
attended the University of Missouri at Kansas City (U. M.K.C.) School of
Law where he was a Research Assistant to Law Professor Christopher Hoyt.
Mr. Jones was an articles editor for the American Bar Association's
journal on urban law entitled, The Urban Lawyer .
After receiving his J.D. degree from U.M.K.C. in May, Mr. Jones was
admitted to the Missouri Bar in October of 1985.
During 1985 and 1986, Mr. Jones was the Law Clerk for Jackson County
Circuit Court Judge William F. Mauer and then became a litigation
attorney with Christen, deVries & Pigeon, the predecessor firm of
deVries & Associates, P.C. where he practiced for over twenty years
before opening this firm as a solo practice.
He is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court for the State of
Missouri and has represented individuals and businesses before the Court
of Appeals for the Western District of Missouri, the United States
District Court and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western
District of Missouri as well as the United States District Court for the
District of Kansas.
He is a member of the bars of those courts as well as the Eighth Circuit
and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. |
